This dedication appears on all the pages of this site at this level (root level) only, as do the left hand side links which take you to some important structural geology software pages on the web. Please visit the blogs companion of this site by clicking here.  PLEASE VISIT THE COMPANION BLOGS SITE structural geology and tectonics blogs. The alumni of the Department of Applied Geology have put up a new intranet site. You can go to this by clicking here.

If you have written software in the field of structural geology, please mail me its link. If you wish to have it placed on the space here, either mail to me the same as attachment to email or on a disk by snail mail, or the link to enable me to download. Since the web space is limited, the software may be subjected to scrutiny and please do not mind if hoisting at this site is denied.

Important: The programs written by the author contain libraries intrinsic to higher Windows versions, upward of Windows 2000.        This website is a sequel to the structural-geology-portal that I launched in late 2002. It was picked up by major search engines by the beginning of 2004. It has been visited by more than 10,000 till date. This is quite a satisfying count considering that there may be just that number of structural geologists in the  world. I also posted software on about 10 free sites, whose total downloads now numbers more than a thousand and the cumulative visit count to about 10,000. This site principally lists the software that I have written, some in collaboration  with my students, together with some third party software and external links to

some important software which is very useful to the students in the general

domain of structural geology.  If I have missed some, please mail me asking for inclusion with all web page details. The software written by the author which can  be downloaded from this site is listed below.
