is an elementary pictorial module, menu based, on aspects of shear
zones for beginners. There are

with descriptions, and some animations taken from the web. For
those who are not beginners but
have
been initiated into this field, it is recommended that they
download the ebook on Aspects of natural
deformation. The
aspects covered in a very preliminary way are general basics,
plane simple shear, extension veins, mylonites, C and S surfaces, factorization,
terminations, naturally developed shear zones, kinematic
indicators together with a list of references.
