This dedication appears on all the pages of this site at this level (root level) only, as do the left hand side links which take you to some important structural geology software pages on the web.

Below this line, you nust see a small image of an Open eye  and also a caption "Open" or "Open Menu" that on clicking will load a framed page containing menu to help you navigate across this site. If you do not see this, you must change the settings of whatever browser you are using and allow the activeX content to be displayed, else you will not be able to navigate through this site.

This technique was developed by D. Dunnet(1969) and helps to separate the components of finite strain from deformed ellipsoidal aggregates that were already ellipsoidal before deformation, such as pebbles in a sedimentary conglomerate. The theory is briefly alluded to in the program help file The data can be input via text files or on the data input window or by clicking the mouse pointer by watching and matching the .data in the fields.

The program has a data window and plot window. The values of Ri are returned and the plot can be printed by annotating or labeling as desired by choosing colors and fonts.
